Bounce rate means: How much time a user stay on your website, If your website's bounce rate is higher than 60, it is not good for your website but if your bounce rate is lower than 50 it is very good for your website.

I also want to know the details of bounce rate. Although I have read about the bounce rate that if it is high then that means users are leaving the web page quicker and if the user stays on the web page for a longer time then the bounce rate is lower. What I want to know is how the website knows if the user is still on a web page. What if the user has opened a web page and didn’t do anything as if reading it for 1 hour, what is the bounce rate on that?
