    How well does Instagram or Facebook traffic convert?

    Which are the best CPA offers to choose for Facebook or Instagram and are these very high converting?

    Well it all depends on the demographics of who you're intended audience is and whether you're ad is appealing to that audience with those demographics. So if your CPA offer mainly targets younger people then you will want to set up ads for those campaigns using the demographics of the people it's most likely to sell to. But Facebook marketing and Instagram marketing are done much differently. You can post many forms of media to FB such as links on your site/blog etc but you can't post links in IG posts only photos/images and a description with #hashtags. So IG traffic converts a little differently than FB traffic for this reason. I mean with FB you can create an appealing post with image or video and it's much better for promoting CPA offers. But with IG you can only post an image/photo and most IG users prefer real high quality photos of things as opposed to some sales page graphic that might be in your CPA offer landing page. Although that could still work as well provided the Instagramer who sees it in their timeline happens to be looking for something like that then clicks on it. But as said, there's no links in IG posts so they would have to click your profile and then click your link on your profile to your site and then go from there. Where as with FB you can send people directly to your own sites page where the CPA offer link is or even directly to the CPA offer itself.

    As for which actual CPA offer to choose is, they are the things that have always been the best things to choose and that is the latest trending gadgets and gear, tech and clothing, jewelry, sports cars, swimming pools, jacuzzis all of that sort of stuff. but it can be anything that's trending right now or something high in demand as well that ranges from biz opps, to ecommerce stuff, downloads and surveys, sweepstakes and free stuff like free iPhone email submits etc. Gaming stuff, tech stuff. Insurance, real estate, holiday and dating stuff are some always popular and in demand. The trick is, to choose something you are passionate about and most interested in! But more than that, it all comes down to testing at the end of the day too!

    Since you can't post links in Instagram I would certainly choose Facebook over Instagram any day.

    It would seem Facebook is much easier to use and work and I would think it converts much better since there are so many more ways to add links and content.

    What about videos and Instagram? Is Instagram just images?

    I like the fact that Youtube videos can be posted to Facebook and videos can be uploaded directly to Facebook too.

    I didn't know that you cannot post a link in Instagram. And like you, Facebook is also my choice when it comes to getting traffic because I find it the easiest place. Especially when you are a member of a Facebook group that is directly related to what you are promoting then you hit the jackpot. Most of my writer friends would agree on Facebook because that's what they are doing.

    It's not just images Lynne. You can upload videos too. You can either record a video to upload or upload one from your library in your phone. You can then add filters to it if you wish, set a caption and a location too as well as the description you can put for it. So it's not just for images/photos only no you can add video too. Images dominate it though more than videos do because they're just easier I guess.

    And yes I like how Facebook auto embed YouTube videos when you just paste the URL into the content field. You don't have to mess around it just knows from the URL that it's a video and will show the videos thumbnail and title etc so that it's all nice and neat. You can't do that with Instagram but you can still upload videos to it. However, videos can only be from 3-60 seconds long and no longer than this. But there's a lot you can show in 60 seconds time and that's enough time to create a full blown story clip or nice long video.

    Instragram can be a hell of a powerful marketing tool. Seen a successful campaign in action. Basically, we paid this very popular local model to promote one of our client's shoes, she had like 200k followers, our client got something like 10k orders in a week. The factory was overwhelmed with orders, they made buckets of money with just one instagram post.

    So it's all about the niche and the way you do it in my opinion.

    Wow, with just 200k followers it turned into 10k in sales? Was there a way to track if the orders came directly via the post? Or was the post shared by others and that helped generate the sales? Very curious to know as I never thought Instagram could bring in that many sales with a simple post of an image.

    There were a couple of posts, mentioning this brand. The traffic was direct and all the orders were placed on the website. People already knew the brand but the fact that this model confirmed it and posted pictures of herself wearing these shoes, convinced a lot of ladies to but the exact model of shoes.

    It wasn't actually a big number of posts, two or three in total, it was pretty natural, potential followers can be very suspicious if they think that was a paid promotion.

    Everything has to be done as the model itself has "found" that brand and that specific model of shoes.

    I have created an Instagram account just to learn the concepts and the nuances because I don’t want to feel ignorant with social media discussions. However, my account is not active anymore because it is not my type of posting. Instagram is more on photos and not much for the textual content. You are right that Instagram Influencers are earning so much money because of their popularity.
