    Tips on getting advertisers on a new website?

    I wonder if any of you got some tips when emailing people or other sites to advertiser on your pages.

    Content is the key. If you have quality contents on your website, advertisers will be impressed. You need well written and unique articles.
    Traffic is the key. If you want to impress advertisers, you should be already getting good traffic. Some advertisers will accept you only when you have x number of monthly visitors.
    Design is the key. Your website should have a good design.

    My husband had tried in their office website to get advertisers. From what I remember, they got just 1 advertiser that lasted for a month and it was not followed to mean that their advertising program was a failure. He said that it was not easy to get advertisers even if their office website was getting a good traffic already. But if you are good in marketing then you probably can be successful in that part.
