Write the reason you're deleting this FAQ
When blogging you can be faced with all kinds of opinions and that is fine, kind of the point right. but how do you deal with someone who is not exactly being civilized; someone who goes above and beyond and is unbearable to even communicate with.
Even so how do you go about dealing with said person if they continue even when the issue being discussed is over.
Unfortunately i have had to deal with these type of difficult people before but I'm curious as to what every one else thinks would be a good way to handle such situations.

Something I have learned in life (and this is not from business, this is from counseling and being in treatment for addiction) is that you cannot control what other people do, you can only control yourself.
So when people are negative and unreasonable and behave in a manner that is just not appropriate in any way just make sure your side of the street is clean.
And don't let it get to you on a personal level.
Then regarding your website, well you need to reply to every comment don't you? So this ends up being a non-stop thing doesn't it? Kinda like playing tennis. This is good for your website. Engagement tells the search engines people are interested in your content and every comment related to your content adds new keywords and adds new content.
I love my haters, they help me get ranked :) So be grateful.

You see, sometimes in life, you come across people who aren't willing to listen to reason, who just want to argue no matter what. And sometimes you can recognize that and turn it around on their head! Sometimes some people aren't willing to be talked around and you can't work something out with them no matter what you throw down on the table. So when that happens, when you're dealing with someone like that, what can you do to bring matters to a swift and amicable end?
Sometimes, some people just want to argue and don't want to agree on something to end the dispute and move on. They're either disgruntled over something or are just an argumentative person in real life anyway. This makes it almost impossible to have it out with them and anything you seem to say to settle the dispute, simply adds fuel to the flames. When that happens, the best thing to do is not try to disagree with them but actually level with them instead. Try to get on their level and see things how they see it. Then simply just agree with everything they say, even if what they say is wrong and not justified. You don't have to agree wholeheartedly, just agree to hear their opinion and let them know that you've taken it on board. Thank for them for their opinions rather than disagree and try to argue it out.
I used to do telesales for a living. It's not something I would EVER do again! If you've ever seen the movie Boiler Room. That is what it was like for me. A supervisor always breathing down your neck, pushing you to get more sales and then looking down on you when someone gets away as though there was something else you could have done even though you pulled out every trick in the book. But sometimes people would be extremely rude to you even though they were canvassed first and it wasn't a cold call. Some people would even verbally abuse you and swear blind at you down the phone. But rather than retaliating back in the same manner, I learned to recognize that and turn it around on them. So instead of just hanging up, I would thank them for it, literally saying "Oh thanks for that sir, that's great thanks, I really appreciate that cheers!". I would not get all moody with them which is what they want, I would simply turn it around and put it back on them. And for the most part, this would suffice perfectly and be enough to make them hang up on me knowing I'm not going to play their game.
That's how it should be with your blog readers as well or even disgruntled clients, you can only do so much to work something out with them beyond you doing all that you can. They want you to play along with their game as well and want to try and annoy/upset or ruin your day. But when you show that you have thick skin like a rhino and will always turn their insults and derogatory remarks upside down, they are much less likely to carry on that way knowing that it doesn't work and wont get them anywhere anyway.
You just have to recognize when someone is genuinely saying something for a good reason, or if they're saying it just because that's the sort of person you're dealing with. Then when they try to do or say something that could cause dissension between you, don't add fuel to the flame by playing along, but rather learn to diffuse the situation before the bomb goes off!

Turn it around on them, learn to be a bomb diffusing expert!
