    What would you like to change from your ISP?

    Personally i'm very happy with my internet service provider, the internet speed that they offer is really good and fast enough.The only thing that I would like to change is payment system from their website, it has too much bugs and sometimes service is still disconnected even when the order is completed. However, they have promised big changes in this summer, and this is a good news.

    What would you like to change from your ISP? Please share your thoughts…

    I'm very happy with my ISP. I've had some nightmares in the past but my current ISP is quite good and don't ever recall having any downtime and any problems that have came up have been fairly quickly dealt with. Plus their telephone support is quite good too apart from they often talk to you like you're a complete newbie but they do that with everyone because there are so many of these people. I'm just waiting for them to install fibre optic in my area so I can get much faster broadband speeds. I don't do much downloading these days like I used to but it will come in very handy for when more places stream 4K content as I just purchased a new 4K TV. What would you like to change from your ISP?

    ↵I currently use Xfinity from Comcast using the X1 bundle service which includes TV, Internet and Phone. Here are some points that I don't like about this service:
    • Telemarketing calls - We got this service a couple months ago, well the bundling that is, and we experienced no calls, not even from a single telemarketer - we never gave out the number. However, in the past month we have started to receive an abundance of calls from telemarketers and we believe that the company sold the phone number to a 3rd party. Sure, everyone may get telemarketing calls but it's very odd we got them after we got their phone service.
    • Internet Issues - We are suppose to have 75 mbps download speed however it is more like 2-5 mbps. Clearly it's somewhat false advertising on their part. The internet also randomly goes out periodically throughout the day, it's quite annoying when you're trying to complete online work.
    • Hidden Fees - There is over $20 in hidden fees, that are not described within our 2 year contract.

    I haven't mentioned the TV service, however I believe it seems to be quite fine. I do not often watch TV so I can not properly give my input for that service.

    I had similar issue with my previous ISP, their service was really poor and very expensive. But now i'm very happy with my actual ISP.

    Hi procoder Thanks for your query to know what about our internet service provider. Last 7 years I have change many ISP provider and still I do not satisfy for several reason on my ISP provider. Firstly I face problem with disconnection line. My internet connection often disconnected even each day and they also provide me share IP with low quality speed. So, I had to changed that ISP. And last 4 years I am using another ISP and still I am suffering with proper speed and for high price. Though, they provide me real IP instead share IP. I am bit satisfied now but not fully. So, I expect still speed internet with low price and should unique IP. I do not know when I can fix it.

    I believe the internet here in South Africa is slow and expensive. Our main telecommunication company, Telkom, is really shoddy. They give the most awful service and they cannot be relied upon for anything. The only way to get a dsl connection is through them, they have a complete monopoly at the moment over landlines and dsl lines so they can really just do whatever they want and they do.
    Satellite internet is available in some places, but in a lot of areas it is slow and unreliable. I tried it and could barely connect half the time.

    I used to use Satellite Internet. That was around the time that broadband came out and it was as slow as dialup and wouldn't work at all if it was raining or really cloudy and I live in England and it's like that every day here pretty much. I really don't know why I still live here and definitely want to emigrate to Australia or somewhere hot for a change where they also happen to have good Internet! What would you like to change from your ISP?

    Yes I also noticed that with the satellite internet. Any wind or rain and I would be offline. I can just imagine how bad that must be in England being offline every time there is rain!

    I have a VPS server that I get 800 Mbps download and upload speed! My ISP provider is Xfinity the reason for the VPS is that Xfinity is always going down at the worst times! If you have running programs on your desktop it can be a nightmare. VPS servers are up most of the time and really cheap also.
