yes its really successful i guess ..... one of my friends had a blog and he tried everything to get his site indexed but in vain , but as soon as he used rich snippets and g+1 profile , his site was indexed in a week with his photo and blog summary on google's first page

for you it may not work in a week but lets take a time period of a month or two
