    It's surprising to see the answers given are about the same as for what I would give now. In that I would say Reddit, SU, Digg as about the top 3 social bookmarking sites today. It just goes to show that this an area that doesn't change much. Mainly I guess because these sites just get bigger and bigger and no other site has the same amount of user base as these ones do.

    Some other great social bookmarking sites now though are Scoop.it, Instapaper.com, VK.com, Pearltrees, Plurk, Lifestream, Newsvine & Slashdot which are getting as equally as big as the top 3 these days in terms of user base.

    I wonder why you think that Google gives more importance to some bookmarking sites over the others? What is your basis for saying that Google gives importance to some bookmarking site maybe for some factors? My take on Google when it comes to bias and prejudices on sites is that it is fair to everyone unless the site has committed a violation which the crawlers may tag it as delinquent.
