What technique do you use to rank FaceBook Pages?

Hello,

I will like to know the methods you use to rank Facebook pages, I see in Google, pages from Facebook are ranking high these days.. was this ranking based on likes the page received or you have to do link building for this?

Author credibility might play a role in a higher ranking Google+ or Facebook page and this can be influenced by number of real fans and shares online. Though other factors play a part such as use of relevant keywords in context of your page.

In one discussion that I have come across, there was a comment that say search engines are considering social media posts as backlinks. With Facebook pages, that also has a niche and probably the number of followers are taken into consideration. Much more, the contents of the Facebook page will have an influence on search engines because the treatment is like a website already. In other words, if the Facebook page is dynamic then it is equal to a website that is dynamic. Correct me if I’m wrong on this assumption.
