    What do you use to track your rank?

    There are a lot of tools out there that will keep track of how you rank for keywords such as Traffic Travis and SEOMoz.

    I use ProRankTracker and just using their free option is enough to track enough terms and URLs but their paid plans let you track a lot more URLS and terms and they have many in-depth features that let you see how your ranking has changed for each term. Plus they send you a daily report every day that lets you see how your rankings have changed for each URL and term. Pretty nifty service!

    You can use plugins for Mozila or Google Chrome . I use SEO for Chrome , its a great tool on which you can rely

    I'm currently experimenting with SEOMoz.org. I love the reports they have generated so far and the tools they offer.

    Traffic Travis is also great for determining your rank.

    I am using google analytic to check the rank of my site and the so far the result they provide is quiet detailed and satisfying..You can also try google analytic tool here http://www.google.com/analytics/

    I am a learner of SEO methods and the keyword is one of the methods that I have to go into details. Now I understand that it’s not just a keyword that we are talking about but a key phrase which is a set of words that is used as a keyword. With the tracking of the ranking I still have no idea and this discussion is an eye opener to me. However I want to know the effectiveness of the tracking because it takes time and it is a waste if it will not be beneficial to a site owner.
