    The hidden links are not those that are present on the webpage to be viewed but still they are always set in an image file and can be seen through by using hyperlink. When the image gets clicked by someone it moves to some other webpage. In such a case the Google search results of that website gets hampered.

    I think hidden links are not effective, they may cause increasing of your bounce rate

    I have received an email that was supposed to be from a bank. It is actually an advertisement of a bank. The email has an instruction that I need to validate my account. The button is like a hidden link that when I hovered the button there appeared the website that I would go to when I click that. And you can guess that it is another website. Perhaps that is also the same in the topic of hidden link in this discussion. That instead of writing the link on the web page you can place instead an image that has the hidden link.
