    How many keywords ideal for blogging site?

    I have a website but i confused how many keyword can i use for my site.

    I suggest you to target maximum of 2(Two) keyword per every web page, which are not repeated to other page for same website.

    Target different keywords on each page and try to target 3-5 keywords/page.

    Target main keyword in the header tag and place 2 to 3 keywords in the content.

    What do you mean by keywords for your blogging site? Do you mean to ask niche of your blogging site or keywords on you site?
    Your site should have one of two niche, for instance it is bad idea to publish posts about computer, finance, health, travel in one site. If you have multiple niches, it is really hard to find readers. If you are publishing blog posts, you should not have more than 5 percent keywords. On your bloog post, you must have one or two primary keywords and couple of secondary keywords.

    I have read many times in discussions that keyword stuffing can hurt your site with search engines because having too many keywords is considered keyword stuffing or simply spamming. For each web page maybe you can tag your content with up to 5 keywords and the appearance on the content is just twice or 3 times in the web page. That will give a semblance of keywords that are moderate in number.
