    You need unique content first that's optimized for this keyword. Then also start building RELEVANT backlinks... It's not a good idea to stop building backlinks, as this will make y0u lose your ranking quickly! ;)

    Using keywords is new to me but I think I have read enough in this site to understand it very well. Using keywords in the new content of the website will give it a leverage when there is a search for the particular keyword. For example, you have uploaded new contents about a product, say shoes. You can tag it with several keywords like footwear, loafer, shoes. When there is a search for any of the keywords that you tagged your content with, the search engines will recognize the keywords of your content and your website’s link may be included in the search list results.
