    I have outsourced SEO and backlinking for my site several times and been very pleased with the results. The key is to pick a provider that has good places to backlink and doesn't use spam techniques.

    You should really be careful when hiring someone to do SEO as they can botch your search engine ranking if they spam links on blogs. This can make Google distrust your site quickly.

    I don't claim to be an SEO expert, however, I do SEO on my own websites. Recently, I even started to offer SEO service. Currently, I am doing SEO for my client and I am charging $100 per month. I don't think this is a poor payment considering the fact that this is my first job.
