We all want our site to be successful with the new year. So how can we make sure that this happens? Well for starters, you can follow the tips listed below to get your site right where you want it.

Build your content. Make sure that you have the best of the best. Allow only content that is relevant to your site to be on your site.
Take Your Time Building Links. Never, under any circumstances, build all your links at once. This will only leave negatives. And always remember that natural links are much better than any other kind.
Look for website errors. If you have them, you are only shooting yourself in the foot. If you can not find the website errors, consider getting a software that will find them for you.
Place social sharing buttons on your site.
Do not make the title tag longer than 70 characters.
Make everything on your page text based. Do not just use images. The search engine needs to be able to crawl the entire page, and spiders can not read images. You can still use images, just make sure that you are labeling them with rich text.
Use authorship. This will let others know that you are the owner of this material.
Create a sitemap. Then submit it to Google or Bing so your website gets indexed faster.

It’s not only for the new year but any time of the year, you cannot go wrong with the good contents. Uploading good contents regularly is the best SEO tip for me because content is the essence of the website because without content, there is no website. And with a good content that is unique and not copied from any source, original content is a plus when it comes to the SEO capability of the website. Uploading good contents gives the impression that the website is current and not stagnating, not dead.
