And, what was an acceptable backlink last year is considered a spam backlink this year. And, the bad part is how webmasters are being penalized now for what was once considered OK to do by Google.

I agree that off page is more difficult to do. On page is not so hard once you get it all figured out.

I guess it would depend on you when it comes to difficulty level. The on-page SEO work that I know is the uploading of fresh contents that is unique and well written. That means you have to write an article to have contents. When you upload it, you can tag it with keywords that will be of help to the website’s capability with the search engines. The off-page method is the spreading of backlinks in other sites that includes the bookmarking site as well. Now you can check to see which is easier for you.
