    Build credibility on large, do follow forums and then add your signature link when you have a nice quantity of posts. Just be sure you are adding only quality posts to the forum and contributing in a good way, otherwise it will be seen as spam. Also, is better to get a link in context of a post than just a signature line.

    From what I gathered in this site, social bookmarking and link building are 2 tested and proven off-page SEO that works well. Link building is done by promoting your website to another site like a blog or a forum. Choose a site that has many regular readers so that the link you will post there will be a quality backlink. You can also post your promotion in social media. It is called social signal but also considered the same as backlinks. For social bookmarking, there are sites for this like Pinterest and Reddit. I hope I am correct in my understanding of the topic.
