    yes I use Google Plus, Pinterest, Stumbleupon, Tumblr, FB, Twitter to share my post URL link. That is where I get external traffic. Not bad judging from Google Analytics charts

    There are different kinds of traffic, for example, search engine traffic, direct traffic, social media traffic. Search engine traffic is organic traffic. You get traffic from search engines only when people find your website in search results and check your links. However, you can market your contents on social media and divert the social media users to your site. It is really easy to get traffic from social media if you are an influencer in social media sites.

    I think it’s a lot of fun to promote your website in social media if you are creative. One friend who can be considered an expert in sales can concoct humorous promotional spiels for his business that he posts in social media. His friends would always comment about it because they find it funny. But you have to be careful when doing your marketing in social media because spamming is frowned upon.
