How can Google Local help your site's SEO?

Can you use Google Local to help your site rank better in search engines? If so, what techniques work best?

I did not notice that using Google local helped my site's SEO. It does, however, add credibility to your website as a legitimate business.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

This is the first time that I have encountered that new product Google Local and my idea is to check on the listing that it produces. With the SEO of the site I guess you have to focus on the SEO methods and not on other parts of Google unless you are talking about Google Plus which is a social media style of platform where you can get traffic from the users that are inside your network.
