What if you change the keywords in page title?

Let's say that you optimize the page title with new/better keywords. Will this help/hurt your search engine rankings? And, how long would it take for Google to re-index that page.

Its very beautiful technique to change the meta keywords of a website. If you change the meta keywords of your website than you have to do search engine related works again for that website. Google will immediately catch those new keywords but those keyword based off page optimization should be necessary for getting result of traffic from search engine to that website.

We are doing the optimization of keywords for our videos on Youtube by checking on the old keywords there and changing them to better keywords that are directly related to the video. With the web page I guess that is also effective because the keyword of the web page should be directly related to the contents and changing the keyword to a better one will give it improvement.
