I am not well versed with bookmarking backlinks although I have read that Reddit and Pinterest are 2 sites that are good for bookmarking. What @Vinaya said above about giving your website strong presence and good brand is true. And that is aside from getting backlinks from those reputable sites. You can perhaps test this method by posting in 1 or 2 sites and then you monitor your website’s traffic for the difference.
