Help a reporter out for a backlink

Here's a really useful way to get a backlink. This site is called HARO or Help a Reporter Out. If you are a niche expert, you can register and when a reporter needs an expert interview, they will contact you. Often when their article is published online, you will get a backlink to your main niche site.

This would be an ideal resource to use if you own a cooking or recipe blog or are an expert in almost any niche. Then you could offer your assistance to a reporter and get a resource link in return.
