You have to promote your site in order to get backlink. An example of promotion is a spiel that you post in social media. When your friend would read and click on the link that you included then that traffic to your website. Another way is to post a comment on a popular blog in the hope that other readers would read your comment and click on the backlink that is located in your signature.
