Backlinks are importance because they are seen as a type of credit given to you from other webmaster.More status of quality backlinks,especially they are from other site within your niche.Important to the on page optimization of your website is getting quality inbound link to it.By having quality backlinks you are attracting visitor.Backlinks are the best way to improve traffic to your website.

You are right. On an analysis I have been checked that keyword based back link generate 85% traffic for a website from search engine or from different sources. Keyword based back link play an important role to rank the keyword in this world search engines. Website based back link (do follow and no follow) will play an important role for the position up on search engine result page and also increase the page rank of Google search engine. Without back link no website will get rank in this world.

It was just lately that I fully understood the importance of backlinks regarding the traffic of the website. When you spread your backlinks to popular websites then the traffic that you can get will be on a large scale. That is the reason why some website owners are spreading backlinks every day to gather more traffic.
