    Are there any popular or quirky search engines you used back in the day that are now extinct or out of business?

    AOL Search is no longer in business, though I remember using it some years back as a child when doing homework on the family computer.

    By comparison, the Google search results are so much better.

    Google is a lot better than any search engine that came before as they make hundreds of micro changes and tweaks to their algorithm daily. The reason those other search engines went out of business is because they rarely if ever changed.
