What if someone left your link on a bad neighborhood. What do the site owner need to do?

If you mean what to prevent is what to avoid doing when you are doing SEO work for your website then check out your contents. I know of some website owners who have the habit of copying articles and then rehashing or spinning it to appear original. Using your own words when you re-write something can make you escape the tag of plagiarism. And what to avoid? Uploading to your website copied articles from another website.
