Google may be sued

Google may soon be sued. Nude photos were leaked of several celebrities. Celebs such as Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lawrence, and Rhianna are threatening to sue google for 100 million. Celebs lawyers say that Google should have been able to remove the photos but they failed to do so. Lawyers say that Google made millions of dollars from these photos.

Celebs are very upset by the photo leaks. Other celebs that have photos leaked out include Amber Herd, Kaley Couco, and Kate Bosworth. At least 100 stars have had their photos leaked, with Amber herd with over 50 images online of her. Cameron Diaz also had photos leaked and said that if Google can do this to celebs, they can essentially do it to anyone.

Icloud photos were obtained, but Icloud says that their system was not hacked. However, they state they take their user privacy very seriously. They say they are investigating this report.

Google was acting like they were not at all responsible for this situation. But you can't simply take a hands off approach, saying 'Not my problem!' when it comes to your site user's privacy. If you are responsible for allowing private pictures to be broadcast, it's not good enough to wash your hands of the situation, if you are the one that dug up the pages posting them and listed them for the world to see. You are just as responsible as anyone else.

I don’t think Google is guilty of anything because those nude photos were not shown intentionally. Let’s say that the site was hacked and the photos were shared on other sites. That act was the act of the hacker and not an act of Google not even the depository sites. To me, Google is free from guilt and it has nothing to do with those nude photos.
