backlinking is off page SEO technique. Anything you do that builds backlink is off page strategies. Off page strategies are also the strategies that generate traffic to your site. When you do blog commenting, forum posting or guest blogging, you build backlink to your site. When you submit your links to the directories and social book marking sites you are building backlinking. Backlinking increases the chances of better search engine ranking.

I want to cultivate the fertility of social media because most us here have an account in Facebook and Twitter. When you have cooperative friends in social media then there is a tendency for them share your promotional post that can result in a trending post. When that happens, you can imagine the traffic that it will cause to your website. However, I have no website for now that’s why I cannot attest to the validity of my assumption.
