Help Improve Google: Which result do you prefer?

I was searching for my own name to see how well my EMD blog ranked. I've noticed lately that a couple of my sites don't rank #1 for their own exact domain search term (no spaces, not common words), while others do. This time I noticed something different:

Google is crowdsourcing to improve it's results but I could see this easily being abused. Opportunity or a disaster?

I also check my blog once in a just to see what’s happening. With my name, it was advised to check it in the search engines to see how I am faring in the internet. And that is related to popularity. Anyway, when it comes to the website’s position in the search engine ranking, I guess it depends on the ever changing algorithm particularly that of Google’s algorithm.
