Do you want to buy a domain or a website? Your question does not say much. You say active domain with lot of members. Domain is just an address, until you host it and install CMS, your domain has nothing on it. Thus, domain does not have members, but website does.
What do you mean ?by having lot of members? Do you want a website that has a good number of members? What kind of website do you want, an ecommerce website, content website, or an afiliate store?
Flippa is a good place to buy and sell domains and websites. You can also buy websites on ebay.
