    How many domain names should i own?

    I would like to start several blogs for niche subjects but am not sure the niches will be popular. Should i buy separate domain names for each blog or put all my ideas onto one generalized blog and save money on domain names. In other words, is it worth the money to buy more than one domain name?

    General niche blogs are not that good anymore. Its all about the niche sites nowadays. I would develop one niche blog at a time. As soon as you finish one you can start building the next one.

    That is a good advice of finishing the first blog before you start another. But you have to take note that the work for the first blog doesn’t end there. Regular uploading of blogs should be provided which would need writing new blogs from time to time. If that is fine with you then think if you have 2 blogs and the work is doubled. Maybe you can have several blogs if you have a team of writers who will help you in producing the blogs on a regular basis otherwise you will just scatter your mind.

    you should look your competitor first and see what they doing. create 2-3x better than what competitor have.

    If you have the budget then I would suggest that you get several domain names. But, of course, you need to have the intention of using those domains. That means you have to put up several websites with probably different niche. Those who own many domain names have the plan to sell the website in the future. Domain flipping has become a profitable business for some.
