    Should you include images in emails?

    If you include images in your email does it affect deliver rate, such as decreasing the chances that someone will hit the spam folder?

    I think it truly depends on the context of the email. If you are sending samples of your product/service, I don't see why not. But I wouldn't get into the habit of doing it all of the time, as people could think it contains a virus or malware.

    I am a subscriber to an online cosmetics shop and every day they send me an email that has an image and the email goes directly to my inbox. They must be doing something right as I never have to go to the spam box to find their email.

    Large retail shopping sites online including Amazon, Ebay and Best Buy always include images in daily emails. So you should be using this technique too.

    including images in emails s very good most especially if the images is very attractive and eye-catching but it mustnt be that cumbersome and big. just a simple attractive design will do.

    images help you understand what the email message is all about. so it is good to some extent. as per the issue of loading, that shouldnt be an issue if you have a fast internet.

    Sites like Amazon and eBay always send photos in emails. And, this helps them make more sales. You should try this out too as it will easily increase your sales.

    sure, photos shows live proof of the product and even video extremely helps also. photos add more exposure and understanding ot what the product is all about.

    I don't think there seems to be any issues with the themes in the images. Many people do make use of them. And for them it works out just fine. It increases the loading time of the images in the mail. And collectively it slows the mail download speed. On that note I can tell you that it is good enough. But those who are into the mail marketing can see that working as well. So make sure to include images only if they are helping.

    I do receive emails with images in them in my primary mailbox and it has never hit my spam box, so I don't think it will affect either the delivery rate or the inbox that it meant to be.So you could try it out to find out.

    having images in your emails help if you are sending promotional emails or marketing emails. If you are sending emails just for communication purpose, having images on the emails create a distraction. For those using mobile phones to check emails, having emails on the emails can create loading problems.
