Who pays you to write?

Most of my income from writing comes from SEOClerks with either article writing, blog posts, blog comments or forum posts.

I tried out a new site for publishing articles awhile back and it hasn't paid off like I wanted it to. Though I have $28 in the account now, it took ages to accumulate. The site is called BubbleWS and it only earns if you are logged in and interacting, where as other sites such as Hubpages earn money for you, even if you rarely login.

I want to publish some Kindle ebooks about practical or weird subjects and sell them for a small amount of money. I think this would be another good way to generate residual writing income.

How are you earning from your writing skills?

You have to be very active on the BubbleWS site by liking other content and making comments and others reciprocate. Some members spend 12 hours a day there. To me, that sounds more like a job, but all they are earning is $15-$25 for the effort. I like to put my writing up at a place and just let it earn a residual income for me, as it's done on HubPages. If Hubpages stops working, then I will find another site that pays as well.

I agree the best way is to ask the writers to provide a sample content and then decide if they are writing the content which is according to the expectations. After that you may hire this is my opinion.

For now, it's only microjobs like this one... But, I've heard about a ton of places where they pay writers (Demand Studios, iWriter, SkyWord, Writertown, Media Shower...)

Demand studios offers steady work for writers but you need a certification or degree in the category you are writing in. That might be problematic for some.

You might ear more money if you write on your own blog. If you started now, you could have a full time income in less than a year depending on the popularity of your subject and blog.

Demand studios offers steady work for writers but you need a certification or degree in the category you are writing in. That might be problematic for some.

I work on a couple of freelancer sites, where I bid on writing jobs. However, the most lucrative writing projects I receive are from independent clients. It happens that I someone finds me and offers the writing job. If I am satisfied with the pay rate, I accept the job. If the client is satisfied, The one-time client becomes a long-term client.

I write for so many people and sites.Write for clients on Fiverr, writing companies online, independent clients, for my blog and lastly posting on forums.So I juggle a lot daily but offline engagements don't allow me do much but I try anyway.

My main line is content provider for forums and I am earning just a small amount in my daily freelancing. I am actually looking for a site where I can submit my article for publication. That I will be paid for the published article and that I will also earn from the likes and comments that my article gets. That’s a pretty good way of earning because aside from writing, there’s also the camaraderie among the community members.
