    Finding high quality images for blog posts

    Where can you find the best high quality free or low cost images for your blog posts? And, can you just take a photo off Google Images for blog posts?

    There is a real risk you could get accused of copyright infringement if you simply take a photo off Google Images. There are plenty of free photos available via the Wikipedia site. Most times they will tell you under the image if you can share it on your site or not.

    You could check out Wiki as many of their images are free to use, so long as you attribute the source of the photo.

    I get most of my images from Pixabay and they're free. There are so many images to choose from on different categories and they're of good quality as well. However, if you want your images to be unique, you may want to look for a site that sells them at a low price or buy them from freelance photographers.

    I normally take photos wherever I go and I have a great collection. However sometimes I can't find the right picture and then I go on Pixabay to look for free images. You can also buy photos online from sites like shutterstock, istockphotos, deposit photos.

    I normally use images from free to use image websites such as Freedigitalphotos dot net, pixabay or wikipedia. Always look for those images that are free to use because you don't want the website or blog of yours to be charged for plagiarism. Stealing photos isn't a freelance writer job.

    This is one area where I excel because I never use an imagethat is not mine. All the pictures that I include my blog are from our personal
    archive that came from our camera. It is better that way so as not to be
    bothered by that infringement rights when using pictures of another person. And
    what’s good in using my own pictures is the exposure of my shots especially
    that my blog is about my pets.

    You can go into research on where to get photos for your blogs. However, there is the need for you to always reference the place you got the pictures to avoid issues in the future where you're accused of plagiarism.

    When I want images, I always go to pixabay. Images on pixabay are royalty-free, you can use any way you want and you don't even have to give attribution. Some sites also offer free photos, however, you have to attribute the images you use.

    Because of copyright law, I love to take pictures from my environment and google engine even love that more than trying to just download images online, so you should try to use your own snapped images but if that's impossible you can try pixabay or Shutterstock.
