    If I like a blog, I might subscribe to the RSS so I can read new posts whenever I want. But usually I don't want to be bothered with more emails.

    I have an app on my Chrome browser that updates me with RSS feeds from favorite blogs in my niche and it always gives me insider access to industry stories I might want to cover on my own sites.

    There was a time when I used to follow the blogs. I use to go to the blogs to read contents. I even left comments. This had two purpose, to backlink my website and read the interesting content. I had to stop doing this because I did not have time to read and backlinking was not working. Currently, I read blogs only when I find something interesting. I was also following blogs of my friends in order to do a favor. However, you cannot continue to do favor if you are extremely busy.

    I just try to check them up once in a while especially when I'm looking for information that concerns those blogs. I've been using a device that's low on RAM and bookmarking some of those sites can slow down it's performance.

    I bookmaker my favorite blogs to easily access them whenever I need to check up any thing in there.I don't like dropping my email on sites so I do more of bookmarking sites.

    I actually don’t follow blogs but what I do is to search the particular blog that I always want to read. You may say that using the search engine is a long cut (opposed to short cut) but that’s my habit. Besides, it is my way of testing the other search engines. In other words, I patronize search engines that way instead of just testing it with nonsensical searches.
