When do you create new discussions?

Do you always create your new discussions in the morning or evening? Is there a particular time of day that works best for getting most forum responses to new discussions?

The admin and mod should know the peak hours of traffic in the forum. Although that’s only an estimate, checking for a week on the volume traffic will give you a good idea. Over here, it is usually after lunch time that traffic is heavy. It is evident with the sudden slowdown of internet access. That means the local forums are abuzz during the period of 1 pm up to 6 pm. For me, the best time to create a new discussion is after the peak hours. That will give the remaining members a chance to make their posts since the thread is new and easy to read. Some members are turned off when the thread is very long because they have to read all the comments before they can post.
