If i build a blog at blogspot then will i have to promote that blogspot site?

    If i build a blog at blogspot then will i have to promote that blogspot site?

    My question is if i build a blog at blogspot then will i have to promote that blogspot site??? or just have to wait for its indexing and anchor text juice which will come to my site from that blogspot site

    You are right that we have to promote the site not only for the indexing but also for the traffic that we can get from the readers of the promotional posts. The social media is one fertile place to do the marketing of your blog although you have to be creative in posting the promotion of your blog. You cannot post every day for you will be considered a spammer and you can be disconnected to your followers.

    You can set up a blogspot to link to your site and then build backlinks to the blogspot for extra juice. For real value you should look at building mulitple web 2.0 properties. Just the one may not provide any benefit.

    You need to treat that blog like you would your own main website. Your main website needs promoting and SEO'ng if you want it to succeed and rank well. The same applies for the Blogger blog too. You will first have to do the on-page SEO such as adding very great high quality content to it and then you will want to do off-page SEO to it such as link building, SEO, SMM. While you can of course just do good on-page SEO to it and add only unique, high quality articles and content to it. If you do the off-page SEO to it as well you will be able to improve that blogs ranking in the search engines so that it gets more traffic and ultimately sends more traffic to your site from it. It's a no-brainer if you ask me! If i build a blog at blogspot then will i have to promote that blogspot site?

    Wherever you build your blog, it is imperative for you to promote it. I don’t think there is a blog provider that can help you in promoting your blog. Anyway, be it Blogspot or Wordpress, you can promote your blog in social media especially if you have an active account with lots of followers. You can exploit that connection of yours.

    Yes you need to promote your site so that people would know that it's existing. And so that you would have regular traffic in your site. Promoting your site in social media is a good and effective way of attracting traffic to your site.
