How long does it take for traffic to build up to a new site? Answered

I'm starting a new blog and want some tips on how to build up traffic. How long does it take for the traffic to start showing up from Google search and other social media sites?

    My laptop charger is over heating Answered

    Is it normal for the plug in charger to over heat? Just that section in the middle that looks like a brick gets very hot now. This is the first laptop that I owned, so I'm not sure this is normal.
