How many Google accounts can you have?

I have many Google accounts which were disabled with no good reason. I have made many appeals but they were all rejected. Is this even legal? My emails and stored data are gone.

Hi sanfora You do not clearly what exactly reason had behind google made disable to your account. As per as I know google only restricted the account due to invalid activity or policy reason. Google take it seriously if any user violate their term of policy and various invalid activity. They took such decision to protect publishers, and advertisers users.

Moreover, google allowed multiple account for per person. There has no limit. And several reason I have used more then 100 and after 7 years all still remains active. Two example for proven this issue: Number one is google providing Forwarding and POP/IMAP in your gmail settings area for using multiple account. By this feature you can add many gmail account as you can for receiving all email from one account more conveniently. If they does not accept more account, why they serve this feature either they should be disabled this options.
And another one we see Google has in front in sign in option to add more account what you have. Here you can also add more account as your need. And in the login section area, they also enable another feature for add your another account.
So, very often Google allowed multiple account or many gmail account as your need.

And your account should restricted or disabled due to violation of their term or for invalid activity. And they ignore such complaint who they very much know why they disable your account.

I only have one google account. I also have one yahoo account. I don't know if its possible to have as many accounts as possible. In Facebook, I have more than five accounts that I don't remember their passwords. So I decided to just have 2 accounts. One that is for public and the one that is for my family only.

It depends what your Google accounts are used for. As far as I know, you are allowed multiple Gmail accounts. I believe there is a limit but creating a few won’t get you banned. I have three and I am not having any problems. As having a Gmail account links to Google drive, you can also have several of those. However, you can only have one Adsense account. You will get banned if you start creating multiple ones and Google is very strict with this but there is one exception and that is you can have one personal and one business Adsense account. This is however the only exception.

If you got banned, chances are you broke one of Google’s term and conditions. Googles terms and conditions state the following:

Don’t misuse our Services. For example, don’t interfere with our Services or try to access them using a method other than the interface and the instructions that we provide. You may use our Services only as permitted by law, including applicable export and re-export control laws and regulations. We may suspend or stop providing our Services to you if you do not comply with our terms or policies or if we are investigating suspected misconduct.

Therefore, yes it is legal for them to ban your Google accounts.

There's no limit to how many Google accounts you can create that aren't connected to each other. There is a certain limit for connecting so many accounts together but you shouldn't be creating so many that you have hit a limit as then you are probably doing something wrong and can end up with all of them being suspended. If that has happened it is because those accounts were suspended due to a breach of their policies somehow. They can see everything it has done all emails sent, any activity done on the Google+ account itself or YouTube or an other Google owned site. They can tell if you're account is being used for personal reasons and or if it's being used for commercial reasons. While it's not wrong to use a Google account for commercial reasons (many people have a legitimate Google email address for their business or for different websites they own), if you're doing something with it that is against their terms and conditions then they have every right to disable that account and any accounts connected to it as they see fit to and that is perfectly legal for them to do so. It's their business and you agreed to this when you first registered by ticking the box to say that you agreed to them so you can't hold them accountable or in contempt for that.
