    well search engine friendly design is nothing but designing a blog/website in terms of SEO, so that the search engine bots could easily crawl our site.

    What do you mean by “in terms of SEO” with the website’s design? Pardon me for asking because I seem not to get any sense from that comment of yours. What I understand with search friendly design is the meta tags and the title of the web page aside from the domain name which has nothing to do with the SEO of the site. Anyway, I know that the design has little effect on the SEO of the site.

    Search Friendly Design: The art of making your site as friendly as possible to the search engines so that they can see and access, crawl and index the site as much as possible. You can make your site search friendly by doing on-page SEO on it. That is a process which involves making changes or adding new content, features and elements to your site such as an XML sitemap and RSS feed. As well as the right meta information and right use of it to. I'm not just talking about your sites homepage meta description but things like OG tags which include your sites social media details, links etc and schema markup which is a semantic vocabulary markup code that you put on your site to help the search engines return more informative results for searchers. If you've ever used rich snippets before then you'll know what schema markup is all about. It lets you control what Google shows in the search results for different pages on your site such as an Events Page that has new events all the time being added to it so people can see these in the search results and clicking on them making their experience a much better one. Good schema markup is good on-page SEO and any professional website would use it.

    What I can think of right now is a simple design for a website with good navigation. A simple design for me is using an appropriate font regarding the size and color. The layout is also important that the home page is not cluttered but not really empty. There is a site I had visited with a home page that contains a short menu and you have to click on the menu to go to the menu proper. I call that a bad layout. I think the color is also a factor since a very dark theme is a turn off for some users.
