Are bulk links in blog comments healthy for a website?

Hey everyone, I just need to know one thing that I have seen a lot of people offering bulk of links in blog comments. Are they really helpful for a website because I don't think that they follow Google's guidelines. I myself is building backlinks on websites like CNN and NJ.com but these links are for good ranking not for black hat link building. Kindly help me out here.

it depends on PR (pagerank) and how many other backlinks there are on a certain page. If a page with PR1 is linking to 300 outlinks is not a good page to make another backlink

Hi,
Bulk blog comments is only worth if you use it as a Tier2 or much deeper level of backlinks on a linkPyramids, linkWheel structures ... otherwise, it will harm your website rather than being helpful !!

Blog comment should never be pointed at your money site they should be used as supporting links...so no they are not healthy as a first tier link they will cripple your site.

I wish you could explain more about the pointing you are saying and also the supporting link. What I understand with comments on a blog is to post your comment so that the reader may get interested on that comment and later on would click on your signature and proceed to your site even just for curiosity. Anyway, I know that we are talking of blog comments here so maybe you are right that bulk comments can consider your site as spamming if those comments are pointed directly to your site.

Thanks mate. This sounds good. One thing I want to ask here is that I have heard that more than 5 blog comments link per week are considered as spam. Is it true?

Can you please let me know that are there any specific guidelines from Google regarding it? If yes, then please share the link of the article explaining the use of blog comments and the guidelines to follow before performing the task of bulk link building.

it depends on quality of your links are they fresh links, highpr links, dofollow links, non spammy links, you use white hat method then no problem you do bulk link building for any site
