Best way to rank a Youtube video?

I only just recently found out that with Youtube videos, you can pretty much use old linkbuilding methods and just blast them. What I am wondering though is the cheapest way to do this. Would using services be the best way? If so what type would you recommend?

Or would learning how to use software like Senuke, Scrapebox and so on be cheaper and better? (I'm not sure what else has come out in the past year, because I;ve been really whitehat).

Marketing your video on Youtube is the best way to give your video a good ranking in the search list. You can promote your video in social media for the benefit of your friends and followers there. Of course, you need to have an active account otherwise you cannot just promote your video just like that for you will be considered a spammer. With an established account, in Facebook or Twitter, you can easily promote your website by posting on your timeline or issuing a tweet.
