From what I have been reading in the discussions on this site, link-building is spreading the backlink of your website in anywhere you can like social media, forum, blogs and even bookmarking sites. SEO is search engine optimization which is directly related to the search engines. The link-building is also a method for the SEO capability of your website because those backlinks you had spread out will influence the search engine.
