A bounce rate is the rate of which people only visit one page on your website. A high bounce rate isn't great, because your website doesn't appeal to see more. Google evaluates bounce rate and uses it as one of 200 characteristics to alters rankings.

I just recently learned about bounce rate that it is about the time that a user stays on the web page. A high bounce rate means the user does not stay long and a low bounce rate means the users take time probably to read the web page. To lower the bounce rate, it is advised to upload interesting contents so the user will stay longer. Another tip is to enhance the design of the web pages so that the user will be amused or attracted.
