    The one way I know how is if you have a Google Adsense account, associate both you Google Adsense account and your YouTube account, relevant ads will then be shown and you can start earning money from your videos.

    There so many direct and indirect methods available, all is for money!
    1) Google AdSense
    2) Promote products and redirect visitors to your products, they can buy it.
    3) Redirect visitors to your site
    4) Get affiliates/referrals for any system.
    5) If you have good popularity, then anyone (e.g. artists, webmaster) can publish their videos via your channel.

    Make some video tutorials on a niche that you know and add them to Youtube. Then activate Adsense for your Youtube videos.  If you added quality videos then they will be get rated which allows to get more views and more money.
    You can also add affiliate links in the each video description and earn money.

    From what I know with the Youtube video, you can monetize the video so that you earn in the sharing of revenue program. That when your video is viewed, it gets some points or when the viewer clicks on the advertisement that is placed on your video. But your Youtube channel should be connected to your Adsense account otherwise the earnings from the monetization cannot be withdrawn.
