    How do I keep my gmail and youtube accounts separate?

    Now when i log on to youtube, using a yahoo account email, it logs me out of my gmail account and when i log back into my gmail account, the youtube one is also logged out.

    Make 2 different accounts, that's the only way to do it because they are automatically connected.

    Simply, while login to both the account Gmail and Yahoo, you use separate browsers (IE, GoogleChrome, Mozilla, Opera etc.) and while accessing youtube account of any of them, you can open and login to same browser, in which you are already logged-in. By doing this, you can stay in for both the accounts.

    When you sign up for Gmail, you will get Google + account and Youtube account automatically, Youtube account is always associated with your gmail. If you create a different gmail account, you will have a different youtube account. Youtube and gmail cannot be seperated.
