    Don't run after too many bookmarking sites. Instead, choose a handful of sites and stay active on those sites. Sharing links on social bookmarking sites is not enough, you also need to remain active on the site by building followers and interaction on other posts.
    I think Pintetest is the best bookmarking site. It has 150 million monthly active users.

    In another discussion, I admitted my ignorance on bookmarking sites. But now, thanks to your comment that you have mentioned Pinterest. I know that site but I didn’t know that it is a bookmarking site. By pinning the link of your website, that is bookmarking? And how about re-pinning, what significance would it give to a re-pinned link of a site? Anyway, now I know that Pinterest is a social bookmarking site and maybe that also applies to Reddit?

    Yes, pinterest is a bookmarking site. These days it is more common to say social bookmarking, rather than just bookmarking. The difference between bookmarking site and the networking site is the former is content curation platform where you can share and discover contents, whereas networking site is a platform where you find people and network with people.
    Pinning a link means you are curating content. This is like having something posted on a notice board. Your pin can be discovered by other people. When you repin, you are saving a content on your notice board that was saved by someone else.
    Reddit is also a social bookmarking site, some people like to refer it as a social networking site.
