For you to get quality links to your sites,You should focus on quality content.There are so many ways to get backlinks to your site
socialbookmarking,social networks like google+ and facebook,forums press release,guest blogging and so on but to get quality links and high clickthrough rate from those links you will focus your energy on providing quality post/content to your readers,even if you want to recommend a product to them make sure it is a product that you trust.
So the bottom line to get links that are effective in your marketing campaign is QUALITY CONTENT,although it s not easy.

I am also new in this but, I think Blog commenting is best. Commenting on other same niche related blogs gives good visitors.

I have been reading that blog commenting is one of the best backlink building methods especially if you will post a comment on a blog of a very popular blogger. With so many regular readers of the popular blogsite, your comment is exposed to so many potential visitor of your website. Just be sure that your link is conspicuous in your signature so when you post a comment, the link of your website is very visible. With an interesting comment, some readers will have the tendency to be curious on you.
