What is Do follow AND No follow ?

I don't know Do Follow and No Follow.Pease any one ans me.

A do follow link passes page rank to the site/page that it's linking to. Conversely, links that are no follow do not page page rank. And by default, all links are do follow. You have to place a special piece of no follow code in your page to make the links no follow.

Do follow means the websites says to follow search engine where as no follow means not to follow the website or blog
