    Some fun facts about the Internet

    There is a pretty nifty website that displays all kinds of information relating to "internet facts" such as blog posts sent, Facebook active users, etc..

    I'm not so sure how accurate this data is, but it is kind of amazing to watch. Even if it is like 90% correct, it is still almost mind blowing to watch the counts go up so fast. You really do not know how many people are truly using the internet unless you are privy to such information as Internet Live Stats displays.

    Now with this being said, I think the favorite internet fact of them all is that the internet was first created for use by the military via internet protocols (TCP/IP). Think of how much technology that is not yet available to the public, and the things we could do with it. The military tech is about 10-20 years a head of every other country. That is crazy!
