    Keyword missing in Description and Keywords Meta Tags !
    Sitemap is not there in Directory !
    Robots.txt missing !
    People Attract towards large nos. crap backlinks but now days they must concentrate on Quality backlinks if you will ask me what is difference between quality backlinks and crap backlinks.
    Then i must say in recent 3 months i place 4 website on top of google with High Keyword Compt.
    and You will surprised to know that i used hardly 200-300 Backlinks for that ! but that are from the authorized side and with Full Strategies and even HIGH PR2+ atleast.

    I guess the keywords that you tag your contents can make a big difference if they will be relevant and quite unique because the search engines are also using the keywords in the same fashion as they use the backlinks. Am I right when I say that a keyword and backlink are equal in the eyes of the search engines? Anyway, the keyword should be directly related to the contents of the particular web page and not to the niche of the site because the niche of the site is always broad in terms of description but the content of the web page is specific.

    There are many SEO mistakes people can make when doing SEO on their own site their self. These cover both on-page to off-page SEO. Some of the biggest most common on-page SEO mistakes are using duplicate content and not using unique content. Not using enough content (thin site) and not using good on-page SEO and site structure such as a badly configured menu that doesn't link to all the important pages/categories etc on your site. Not having a sitemap and not making good use of htaccess file and robots.txt file. Some common off-page SEO mistakes are building too many links too quick to your site, not building links to other pages of your site and only building them to your homepage only. Using tools to mass created thousands of backlinks overnight and not building and related backlinks from sites that are in the related niche to yours.     My take on the mortal sin of a website regarding SEO capability is the duplicate content. If you want to ruin the SEO capability of your website, try uploading contents that you copied from popular websites and surely your SEO ranking will be destroyed. And it’s not just a whole article that we are talking about. From what I had read in the discussions on this site about SEO, even just one line copied from another site will pull down the ranking of your website in the search engine list.
